It hurts, but it makes sense that Jack would let the girl go. The rest of his team can fuck off and die.

God. How far did Jack go, anyhow? I really can't start catching up with canon until the end of the season.

Not to mention that I love the whole fairy mythos anyhow.

And I kind of approve of killing the paedophile. Not so much the stepfather, but he was kind of a bastard too. I felt sorry for the Mum.

Actually, the creepy kids on Who (New Who, anyway) and Torchwood have more often been boys.

Also and at random, there seems to be a theory doing the rounds that Jamie and Nancy are Owen's father and grandmother. Which I think is mainly because they're all from London and someone wants to make connections that don't necessarily exist.
