Uh.

What causes fainting?

Because I think my body just tried to. I didn't fall over, but suddenly I was slumping over and felt dizzy and um. I have been eating, plenty. I hadn't had breakfast, but I only just got up, and I had a cup of tea. I'm not ill, apart from a possible impending cold.

Er?

In other news, kitten continues to be the most adorable thing ever. There will be pictures when I get my grubby hands on a camera.

Lack of oxygen to the brain. Circulation, blood problems, low blood sugar.

It's not so much generally eating as imediate eating. When was the last time you ate? And what was it? If high in sugar, possible you were crashing.

Could be you were sleeping funny and blood flow went wonky.

Are you warm enough? Hands and feet aren't cold?

Feeling fine?

Colds had make you light headed. Happens again, go back to bed.

Sometimes just standing can do it. Don't worry.

It hasn't happened again, so I think I'm okay. Momentary panic, because that's never happened before. Thanks, though!

I feel like this a lot for no discernable reason. Nothing bad's ever come of it. I've only ever passed out from heat or dehydration, and those are scary. This just sounds like random early-morning blood sugar weirdness from having eaten too long ago.

... which is what it is 99% of the time for me. The other 1% it's a random panic attack.
