Shelley rolls her eyes. "I am a triceramatops, of course!"
"Oh, yes!" says Tim, who is not really a student of paleontology, but is really rather sure that triceratopses look nothing like that. "That would explain the... horns."

Strike.
Her opponent evades her easily, tauntingly staying just within reach. Neither combatant say a word. The girl brushes her hair out of her eyes warily, ready for a counterattack.
"...you dare..."
Her opponent is smugly silent, coming just a little closer, pushing invasively into her space, threatening.
"No!"
A lightning-fast strike, born more of panic than any real skill or judgement, and suddenly her tormentor is fallen. She stands very still over the motionless form, panting for breath, trembling from reaction.
Then Shelley rallies, and using the flat end of her bug-swatter, flicks the finally dead wasp out of her window.
