Whooboy.

Internet, how I love thee.

My flist is longer than the Sound of Music. Milliways was on skip 280 by the time I got to the last place I checked.

*Reads patiently*

My weekend was FUN.

Got to London and met [livejournal.com profile] malachan, [livejournal.com profile] djcati, Lauren (Angelina Johnson-mun) and Steph Mu Ji (ETA: Aha! Who I have cunningly discovered is [livejournal.com profile] neenie) in Mu Ji. The actual shop, not some wooden chicken. Had more bags than was really sensible, including one full of icecream. Cyg put it in his backpack, and it astonishingly failed to leak. We took over Starbucks for a while, and played card games while waiting for people, then wandered off because we all have the attention span of eleven year olds.

[livejournal.com profile] innerbrat and [livejournal.com profile] kenovay showed up around then, too, and then we spent a peculiar amount of time writing on playing cards. I think the barmaid hated us all and was praying for our deaths.

[livejournal.com profile] avariel_wings showed up then-ish, and we all adjourned to Forbidden Planet. OMGcomics!

And DVDs!

And books!

Why don't I have one close to where I live?

And then there was Cyg's flat, and pizza, and rather a lot of alcohol, canon-watching, this utter crack and icecream. Oh, and sleep, at some point. From around 4am to 9am. We're good.

Then [livejournal.com profile] innerbrat made pancakes, for she is a goddess among us geeks, and we all went out in time, Lauren performing a heroic dash in time to get her bus. We wandered around a bit, ending up in St. James' Park, where we sat on benches like MI6 agents, and read graphic novels, not like MI6 agents. One assumes. And then, Buckingham Palace (where we sadly did not see the Queen, and therefore could not take a picture of her with Stampy) and lunch.

Then we meandered a bit until everyone left for their respective trains.

Monday: Met up with [livejournal.com profile] rancedrai No idea why I'm even linking, since he never uses that journal. Spectactularly failed to contact anyone else who lives nearby as my phone appeared to die and I nervously switched it off. It seems okay now. but... *pokes it*

Only around for a few hours, so we wandered about, coming across Trafalgar Square roughly five times all told. Found out that our RL conversations are EXACTLY like our IM conversations, since we both type the same way we talk. Mocked each other's countries for a bit, plotted evil for a bit more, then got rained on.

Great fun. *beams*

What have all YOU been doing?
