Finally managed to watch the first Terminator movie.

I'm not sure what it says about me that all I could think about was how terrible Linda Hamilton's hair was. All I can say is, the fashion now is to go through the eras and their styles, but it bloody better not revamp 80s fashions. *Shudder* Power dress with padded shoulders. Not good. Also, Kyle Reece - can't remember the actor's name - had crazy eyes. Crazy eyes! Though that did improve once he had sex with Sarah. I guess he didn't have much of a chance to do crazy eyes when he was swiftly getting injured and killed.

My little sister (12) watched it too, and was very unfazed. I would have been crying like a baby at that age. But maybe it was the effects. They were kinda bad compared to now, but I thought that made the Terminator scarier, when he had that creepy, dead looking skin and a hole where his eyes should be. (And, uh, yes, I did say 'His hed iz pastede on yay!' repeatedly, earning strange looks from said sister.)

So, my reactions to the main characters:

Sarah: WHAT IS UP WITH YOUR HAIR, WOMAN!? Also, do not tell your Mother where the hell you are, you freak! You know evil scary robot dude has been in your apartment!

Kyle: o_O ... Crazy eyes! What is up with your crazy eyes? You are not comforting her with that expression!

Terminator: Arnie, your hed iz totally pastede on yay!

*Cough* Er, that said, I really enjoyed it, and now have to go watch two and three again.
