Yeah, that kind of irked me too. Not quite as much as the Get Out of Jail Free Glove though. Not that I wanted him to die, but if you do it, at least have the guts to do it properly!

GOOD LORD, SERIOUSLY.

I just -- my f-list is full of "I bawled" posts, and it is a v. bittersweet ep, yes, but . . .

I just kept noticing that after pausing DRAMATICALLY over whatsisface, he pulled in a BREATH through his nose. And then when he's saying DRAMATICALLY to whatserface "I couldn't save him because I had no breath" he SNIFFS.

Not needing to breathe is not the same as not breathing at all.

Really, though, I think the first few minutes colored my perceptions.

I mean, there's allowing your actors to breathe so they don't DIE, but then there's just impractical. It annoyed me even more, because in other ways, that was a good episode, for Torchwood.

I feel every compliment I ever give it will now be ended with '...for Torchwood.'
