Eurgh.

Okay. I need advice. I really don't want to miss the first two seminars of term, both of which are tomorrow, starting at nine. But I'm also dizzy, aching, and probably very contagious right now. Do I try and go, or just do the reading and attend the lecture, which is the following day and at a more forgiving hour?

Ideas? I'll be the first to admit that my thoughts are not the clearest right now.

Contact the dept, if possible the lecturer, explain the situation, ask a friend to take notes and/or meet up with seminar person when you're better to catch up?

That's not an easy decision to make, being ill makes attending hard, but missing the first seminar will hurt.
