I'm back!
'A few days' turned into a week. And it was brilliant fun, and I was going to write a cheering and heartwarming account of it all for you. But... now it's gone out the window and panic has replaced it, because I have no idea how, but I thought I had a week longer before I had to return to Uni, I was positive. I mean, from the very start, I counted four weeks. But no, it was three, and so I have to go back tomorrow.
*Hides under desk*
It's not the shortened holiday, three weeks is still ample. It's that I didn't realise, and that I thought I'd have longer to sort out my packing, and finish my reading - but I've only done less than a quarter, because I always use the time leading up the the first term to get back into the habit. Panic, panic, little second-year. I have essays to write the first couple of weeks. When I'm going to have time to get the base reading done before starting in-depth revision and coursework I do not know.
Wah.
Anyway.
The holiday was lovely, and I had a great time - sharing a room with my sister and cousin Bethany was fun, and we had some good times. Other cousin John came over one day with his family, which must be the only one on Earth which can make me feel short. I swear, three of them could pick me up one-handed. We had some nice food, then climbed a huge forested bank and slid back dow again. Marvellous. And I'm still not too old that my grandparents include me in the Easter-egg hunt. >_>
Shh, it's fun.
Oh, and there was a dinosaur museum with actual palaeontologists in there, looking very serious amid electronic T-Rexes and 'Dare you feel what's inside the hole' exhibits.
What have you been up to?
