Yes yes and yes. RTD: Dark in the sense of Torchwood is eating her social life and her brain and she can't see the good in people anymore, can't see the good in the world. Remember the feeling at the end of Countrycide? That was a good glimpse of the dark I want.
He's made some mistakes in the way he started the show...yeah, it's only a show to me, it's only felt real a handful of times.
I want more dark moments, like Countrycide...like They Keep Killing Suzie. Horrible things that you can understand. The cannibals wanted to be happy...Suzie just wanted to live. Stuff that you are like "oh my god" over.
Bleargh RTD. Bleargh! Even if you lose at showing character development for Gwen, I'll do some damn character soul searching FOR her.
