Sep. 14th, 2006 02:04 pmOMG I waaaant to. Trouble is, Guildford doesn't go in for it, really. At all. I don't know about Brighton, so maybe I should see what goes on there...
But regardless, it looks awesome fun if you can swing it. *Pimps*

I slept for way too long last night, and had the most peculiar dream. It started out with this random guy being accused of paedophilia because he was cross-stitching children's clothes. No, I don't know why. Then it turned out it wasn't him, and us and my mother went swimming in the river, further and further up until it ran out of water, and we got out all muddy. Then I was on my own, swimming under the ocean at night, which was so very, very claustrophoboic. I had one of those head lamps on, and I kept seeing monsters and huge fish before I came out and was standing in the back garden of my old house, still in my swimsuit, with a wet towel and a backpack of provisions. I took a break playing on my old swing, which was on the wrong side of the garden, which by this time was all dug up and dusty, as I remember from when I was tiny. But I wasn't on my own, I was standing on my Grandad's shoulders as he swung on it and he was going too fast, even when I started screaming and crying for him to stop, I was going to fall. Eventually he got off and left, leaving me to stop the swinging myself. I knew I had to go back swimming, but I didn't want to yet, so I went to look through the windows into my old house. It was dark, and there was something in there with a laughing old witch-woman, who started following me when I ran away through a dark, empty town that I don't know in real life. I got past her family to speak to the Queen, a plushie doll creature who spoke, and took my dress, giving me a cloak in return. But the dress was all that kept me safe, and the woman came in and I had left my towel.
And then, I woke up.
...I'm suddenly glad I don't know how to interpret dreams.
