I think JKR might have forgotten she isn't writing fanfic- there were moments in the book when I felt she was going off into that arena.
(I *still* think "he's not really my type" is funny, though.)
ALSO. WHY DID REMUS ANDANDAND TONKS GET TO DIE TOGETHER BUT THE TWINS COULDN'T?!?!? I MEAN, HELLO THEIR SOULS ARE ONE. I DON'T CARE IF THAT SOUNDS FUNNY IT'S JUST HOW IT IS.
And I really liked that when the locket opened, Ron saw "Hermione" and heard her say all those nasty things. AND I loved that Harry actually had to say the words "she's like a sister", because it's really something guys say, I think. Awkward, uncomfortable, 17-year-old-not-quite-men guys.
