Doctor Who, now with added coherency and spoilers!
It was mysterious, it was scary, it was emotional. That is how a show is supposed to be. Jessica Stevenson (with her new name I have forgotten) was wonderful, and so sweet, and so pretty that I just... it made sense for her to be with 'John Smith.'
And speaking of. What a cruel, cruel thing to do, both to Martha, and to the Doctor himself, when he remembers. Because he is human, and he is of the time (thank you, thank you to whoever is resposnsible for the belated addition of historical accuracy.) He was a good man, you can tell, and funny and dorky and secretly a hero, but he also held the prejudices that a man then would. Putting Martha in her place, dismissing her when she began to talk crazily, letting that bastard of a schoolboy beat boy-from-Love-Actually who we know he actually likes.
I... Oh, ow. My heart, she bleeds. And the villains are excellent - the one who was originally a schoolboy was a little weird in the previous role, but the unholy life and glee in his eyes while possessed... oh. He's good.
And I can't forget Martha all alone for how long was it? And talking to the TARDIS, and.
And next weeks? Well. I can't decide whether I want to it be a cop-out 'this is what could have been' flash or not. Because if it is, ow, Doctor. If it isn't? OW DOCTOR, and OWWWWW GOD MARTHA. *CLUTCHES*

"This character, I call her Rose - funny, she seems to have disappeared lately."
"He fell in love with a human... and it wasn't me."
"He feels the turn of the earth, and he blazes like the sun."
