Dude, I was so easy, I would have been cool with any number of non-Caucasian ethnicities for Sokka and Katara! And, you know what, the Fire Nation is half based on Iceland, and there are brown-haired Fire Nation kids (Ty Lee), I could have coped with a few differences in casting. But ALL?

The Northern and Southern Water Tribes seem rather based on Inuit cultures, so... while I'm not sure how many Inuit actors are available, Caucasian actors ... is not working for me. I can see your point about Ty Lee, but for the most part it just seems rather out of place for these characters to all be white.

Oh, me neither - for Sokka and Katara, I meant that I would have been cool with just about anything but Caucasian, since, yeah, difficulties in finding Inuit actors.
