Meme! I have one.
1. First Name: Amy. Yep. Always has been, alway will, I suspect - nicknames don't seem to take.
2. Age: 21, if you want to get technical. Most of the time I feel sure I stalled mentally at around fourteen, and emotionally around nine.
3. Location: England! Surrey, if you want to get specific, home of the middle classes at large.
4. Occupation: Um. Sort of between them, at the moment. I just finished my BA in History, but haven't got results back yet. Also, am kind of burnt out, so for now my job is that which I can go back to at any time: Waitress/Kitchen assisstant at local pub. Hope to find at least some experience in publishing, however.
5. Partner?: Yeah, no. I direct your attention to the 'emotionally nine' thing. I have this issue where flirting freaks me the fuck out instead of being flattering.
6. Kids: I love babies. Babies are adorable. I'm surprisingly good with kids, even little shits I want to smack about the face. The idea of pregnancy makes me physically nauseous. You see the inherant contradictions here.
7. Brothers/Sisters: One sister, fifteen, close friend and partner in crime. Mostly due to horrific nightmares in my late teens about losing her. That fear cuts through a lot of sibling rivalry, I found. Also a brother, aged eleven. Not as annoying as he used to be, although it's a pretty serious age gap. Feel responsible since aforementioned sister acts as if allergic to his presence, and I pity him.
8. Pets: One little black cat. Female, named Mog. Very affectionate, incredibly cute, and spoiled beyond belief.
9. List the 3-5 biggest things going on in your life:
a) Just finished History degree at Sussex. Privately terrified, since family expect a lot. I'm predicted a 2:1, or at least got one last year, but I have a private fear that won't be good enough. Argh.
b) I'm writing a pantomime! Hopefully I'll get it done in time, and it's halfway decent. Might as well do something useful with my time...
c) Also auditioning for Zombie radio! Not holding high hope of being cast, but playing with the microphone was awesome fun, and I can use it for other stuff too, so definitely a win there.
d) Hey, even if I can't finish a script, I have the free time to be in a play or two again!
10. Parents: Let me show you them. *Grins* I'm living with them right now, and have a really very amicable relationship with them. They have the power to trigger massive anxiety attacks while still being very comforting and supportive, and I'm overwhelmingly happy to be home from Uni, at least for now.
11. Who are some of your closest friends? My sister Megan I suppose is a big one. We're both fandomy types and have the same sense of humour, and that similarity has made us pretty close. My cousin John, who is practically the same person as I am, just translated via genetic shift and being male. Offline, I still see my school friendship group fairly regularly, if not that often - Anna, Verity, Vicky, Louise and Sian. At Uni I also saw Saskia a fair bit - we were best friends in middle school, then met up again at Sussex Uni. Online, I love my internet people a lot - Debi, Kate, Nny, Del, Lauren, Clare and Gemma, Bethan... Marthe, although she's hella busy. Any Millimuns visting. They're an extended group.
Additional! Tomorrow, I'm taking the Scott Jr. to London. If we have a free moment, I'll text peeople, but if you're at a loose end, grab us! We shall be around, and flexible.
P.S. Internet extremely crazy these past few days. May vanish without warning. D:
